In mid June 2016, an email was sent to all members of City Council. It was routine, a request for a proclamation, something that the council does every month. A month later, only 2 of the 7 members of the Council had responded. When I resent the email, I got 2 more who said that they either had not seen it or thought it had been responded to. Not only did that leave 3 more members not responding, but I was told that the Mayor was the only one who could start the proclamation process. Guess who is one of the members who has still not responded? Yup, you got it. Mayor Harry Parrish, the man who could not get enough contact out last fall about his desire to leave this city and become a State Senator. Not only does it make you wonder where the Mayor's priorities are, but have any of the other city councilors forwarded my request to him?
